Fall is the perfect season to go for a walk in the woods with your family. It is the right time to enjoy nature and daydream.

With the help of Marlène from the instagram account @ouiouiouistudio we propose you a creative idea using natural elements freshly collected in the woods.

Equipment needed:

• Beautiful tree leaves of 3 different shapes

• Acorns

• Scissors

• White felt pen

• Glue gun

• Golden ribbon

• Paintbrushes

• Liquid glue

• Golden specks

• Gold paint

• String lights

Steps:

Step 1️: Preparation of tree leaves

Clean the leaves that you collected in the woods during your walk in a bowl of water, then dry them using a dish towel.

2️ - Cut the leaves using scissors to reproduce the lunar cycle in shapes of crescent moons, quarter moons and full moon.

3️ - Draw white dots using the white felt pen on the edge of the leaves.

Step 2: Placing the leaves

Glue the golden ribbon using the glue gun at the same level as the stem of the leaf to hang them on the garland.

Step 3: Customizing the natural elements

Put glue on acorns and cover them with golden specks. Repeat the same with new tree leaves.

For more creativity, paint a new shape of leaf using gold paint.

Step 4 : Creating the garland

Glue the leaves in shape of crescent moons/quarter moons/full moon at the lower part of the string lights.

Place the golden and spangled leaves and acorns to create a harmonious universe at the upper part and glue them with the glue gun.
